Martial Arts - "Kyudo" is "Bow Ways" When the bow became obsolete as a weapon the spiritual aspect of archery was developed as a discipline for peace and self-cultivation. This has been achieved in uniting force of the warrior tradition with dignity of the ceremonial. As a path of personal growth and development of the martial arts, the concept of Reisetsu - respect each other, became the moral discipline which united these two aspects and formed the basis for the practice of Kyudo. In meeting the desire of the negative thoughts and physical difficulties the practice of Kyudo offers the opportunity for individuals to meet their limits, and the challenge of this confrontation.
